Logistics Interim Assignment
The UK Logistics Manager needed to develop their U.K Operational aviation parts Warehouse and Logistics team (including Procurement). Working closely with the Managers & Supervisors, as an interim HRBP, a series of positive changes, including process improvements and performance and development reviews, were introduced to drive forward improvements. This included exiting and/or improving the performance of a number of poor performers in the Warehouse team. Integrated alongside this was a very successful continuous improvement programme.
TUPE Integration Assignment
We were asked by CarrilionAmey to work on an interim assignment in the South East on the Next Generation Estates contract. We delivered a major TUPE programme (coordinated with 12 organisations) and lead an ETO within CarillionAmey.
Key achievements included the pre TUPE transfer consultations with 12 organisations and actively leading consultations with staff.
We successfully re-deployed c.50% of staff, avoiding redundancies and achieving skill retention.
With high labour turnover and other associated quay side issues, a project was formulated to review the Operational HR staff and recruitment processes and procedures.
Over a period of time, a comprehensive review was completed that led to an improved recruitment and selection processes and an increase in the number of quality applications received. As a consequence of this the quality of the Port Operative teams improved.
